Kennel's story:
Coming back from a trip, ten years ago in January, we decided to stop in a
kennel to nose aroud!!
In a small cage there was our ”good giant”: a black great dane female of
ten months with a broken leg, nearly to be suppressed. This big puppy, too
grown for the cage, immediately entered in our heart, as the opportunity
to neglect this dane immediately entered in the breeder's heart, so he gave
her to us with all her documents.
At home she immediately revealed very thankful and affectionate. With her
we began to know this wonderful race, mainly for her marvelous personality.
Zora, her name, immediately required to have back her lost infancy wasted
in that small cage and, despite her leg conditions, she was healty and
absolutely not painful. When she was 2 years, we decided to couple her in
order to try to calm her hot spirits ... but we were never successful in that!!
She was the beginning of this wonderful adventure that is our kennel today.
Her first and only litter (we decided, in fact, under vet's suggestion not to
reproduce her any more to avoid to put under effort the weakened limb)
was of 11 beautiful puppies and we decided to hold two of them.
S o Brinaand Sansone Dei Capovilla, both black, entered in our family.
With them we were introduced into the expo world and we started to
desire to build our own aesthetical line.
From here to the eight Danes the step was short!!!
Therefore we decided to purchase bitchies and stallions. We decided to
make application of placard too and that was recognized us on the
10/08/2001, with the title: Del Giardino dei Capovilla.
Our great dane kennel in two colours, black and harlequin, is very recent
and still in evolution, but it is born from the unbridled love for this breed
and for this reason we are trying to build healthy and mighty subjects in
order to reflect the attribute of this breed: ” Apollo.”
We deliver our puppies after the tattoo and the vaccination (at least after
the second vaccination and not before the 65 days of life) and with a
medical certificate that declare the puppy's health. Moreover, we desire to
follow the owners in the puppy's growth, and for this reason we try to
maintain a continuous relationship with them with the purpose to sustain
them and to provide them with useful suggestions.
